How do I get an estimate from Clutch?
Start by filling out the online form. Tell us as much as you can about your car repair needs, and make sure to include your contact information. We'll get an estimate to you as soon as possible. Once you have agreed to the proposed work, a technician will come to complete the repair.
When are you available to service my car?
Regular business hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
How much does it cost?
We charge an hourly rate of $129, with a minimum of one labor hour per visit. We use a labor guide that provides industry standard time estimates on every job. Estimates also include pricing for parts and supplies if applicable to your repair. If you're not sure what your car needs, just let us know. We're happy to diagnose the problem for you. We'll give you a full assessment of the problem, along with some options to fix it. We charge a Diagnostic fee of $129 to perform this service.
What if my car ends up needing more work than what's on the estimate?
After inspecting your vehicle, we'll let you know of any other repair needs we may discover. We'll give you a recommendation, and if you would like us to do the extra work then we'll update your estimate. We'll make sure to let you know which repair needs are urgent and which ones would be okay to do later.
How do I pay for your services?
Three options: 1) In person with a credit card; 2) Digitally through Venmo: @clutchautomotiverepair; 3) Digitally with a credit card (we'll text you an invoice through Square for this). Please be prepared to send payment when your service is completed.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a service?
If your schedule changes, just let us know and we'll work with you to get it changed to a time that works best for you. You may be charged a fee if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours, or if you are not available for longer than 30 minutes after we arrive to work on your car.
What should I do if I am not satisfied with the service?
Please let us know as soon as you can if you are not satisfied with the repair for any reason. If the vehicle is not operating correctly as a result of the service completed by us, we will return to fix it as soon as possible (usually within 48 hours) at no cost to you. If you or anyone else attempts to work on the car before we are able to return then we will not be liable for problems with the initial repair.
